Path To Freedom

Oh, Lady of the Night, tempt me with your sounds and words into descent deep down into my shadows. Take me to the dark edges of my psyche, I dare not go myself. Take me to the places in my body that remain unhealed because I cannot feel, because I am numb, because I have fear. Sadly, these parts of me were walled off so very long ago.

Take me there, I will go under your guidance to feel the traumas. Melt away whatever I am holding on to, whatever I am bracing from, whatever does not serve me anymore—bone by bone, muscle by muscle, cell by cell, and even the invisible.

Please assist me in reconstituting myself, recognizing my authentic self, becoming wholly whole. That both the light and shadow inside me harmonize into the perfect rhythm of their divine dance.
